We load the public homepage of the store you enter, the same page any visitor sees. We only do this for stores hosted on Shopify. We keep a private record of which store was checked, how many script tags it had, the date, and how you found us (for example, a search ad). We use this to understand how widespread the March 1 problem is. We never publish results for a named store.
To prevent abuse, we briefly count checks per internet connection. That count is deleted within about an hour, and your IP address is not stored with your results.
We store your email address, the store you checked, which option you chose (a fix quote or a reminder), how you found us, and the date. We use it only to reply about your store, this checker and the March 1 deadline. We don't sell or share it, and we don't add you to unrelated lists.
Reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us, or write to hello@patchwellstudio.com. We'll stop emailing you and delete your details within 7 days.
Data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Check records are deleted automatically after about 13 months.
